Driving keeps you independent: the weekly shop, the appointment with your doctor, the visit to your grandchildren. With the years, traffic changes and so do we. A calm session in your own car shows you where you stand, with no exam pressure and no judgement.
We practise everyday situations together, and specifically the things that feel uncomfortable: double roundabouts, motorway slip roads or parking manoeuvres. If you like, I will also walk you through the assistance systems in your car.

Doctor-referred assessment drive in your own vehicle, with a detailed report for the referring practice. The report is included in the price.
Short report, CHF 60. After the session I put in writing what is going well and what is worth working on. You decide after the drive whether you want it.
Good to know
- Your car: We always drive in your own vehicle, so I can see how you cope in the car you are used to.
- Insurance: Because we are in your vehicle, your own car insurance applies. The all-risk insurance of my driving school does not cover these sessions.
- Where we meet: Most people come to me. If you prefer, I will come to your home, within ten minutes' drive, at no extra charge.
- Duration: Every session lasts 90 minutes.
- Report: On request I put the result in writing, short report CHF 60. With Medical90 the detailed report is included.
- No admin fee: You already hold a driving licence, so no admin fee applies.
- Cancellations: Free of charge up to 48 hours before the session. If you are ill, we will find a solution.
- Payment: TWINT, invoice or card.
Frequently asked questions
What happens at the medical fitness-to-drive check-up from age 75?
From the age of 75 you attend a medical check-up every two years with a recognised doctor. The doctor looks at eyesight, hearing, mobility, medication and general health, and then confirms your fitness to drive to the Strassenverkehrsamt (road traffic office). It is a medical appointment, not a driving test. If your doctor would like to see how you actually drive, Medical90 gives them a written basis.
Do I have to bring my own car?
Yes, we always drive in your own vehicle. That is the whole point: I see how you handle the car you use every day, with the seat, the mirrors and the assistance systems you are used to. Your own car insurance applies during the session.
Do you come to my home?
Usually you come to me. If that is difficult, I will come to your home within ten minutes' drive at no extra charge. Just tell me when we arrange the time.
Do I get anything in writing?
On request, yes. After Check90 I can put the result in a short written report for CHF 60. With Medical90 a detailed report for the referring practice is always included in the price.
What is the difference between Check90 and Medical90?
Check90 at CHF 230 is a coaching session for you personally: we drive for 90 minutes, look at what is going well and practise what feels uncertain. Medical90 at CHF 390 is a doctor-referred assessment drive of the same length, and it always includes a detailed written report for your doctor.
